Equipped with an 18 Tesla superconducting magnet, Rouen's ion cyclotron resonance and Fourier transform mass spectrometer is the most powerful in Europe. The MagLab in Tallahassee has the world's most powerful FT-ICR-MS (21 Tesla), while UPPA and TotalEnergies received their “little brothers”, each with a power of 12 Tesla, at the beginning of 2025. They are all part of the iC2MC international joint research laboratory.

The E2S RODAM research project, for Robust Optimal Design under Additive Manufacturing constraints, came to an end in December 2024. Led by Marc Dambrine, professor at the Pau Laboratory of Mathematics and its Applications (LMAP), in partnership with Safran Helicopter Engines, its main objective was to design optimized, 3D-printable mechanical parts for helicopters.
