The core scientific domain of the Energy Environment Solutions (E2S) project covers geo-resources, new energy issues and environmental natural and anthropogenic impact assessments leading up to remediation strategies.

E2S relies on strongly recognized laboratories in high-profile chemistry, engineering sciences, geosciences, mathematics, physics and biology. Their activities are supported by state-of-the-art equipment in spectroscopy, microscopy, imaging, modeling and digital simulation. In addition, assessment and acceptance of new solutions and the public regulations supply the area with interdisciplinary reflection.

One of the major assets is the strong relationship of E2S with international companies, which is part of the dynamic of innovation leading to new industrial specializations (e.g. innovative batteries or the fully electric plane). To build together E2S project, companies may support UPPA in its trajectory towards a model for scientific excellence and international visibility based on a new public-private partnership giving a true surge to research. Indeed, companies can find in this partnership the scientific excellence they expect by means of joint actions (joint laboratories, industrial chairs, scientific challenges…).

You will find below a brief description of the actions that can be carried on together. For more information, do not hesitate to contact:
