Integrated Electro-Mobility

The Greater Pau-Pyrénées Area (CDAPP: Communauté d'agglomération) has obtained the French label "Territoire Hydrogène" for the project Integrated Electro-

Mobility : hydrogen as a vector for the development of clean mobility and energy networks.

This project, in collaboration with TIGF and UPPA, aspires to power ten public buses with hydrogen, with the goal of zero-emission transportaiton. It will be necessary to develop a virtuous and complete chain of the energy vector hydrogenate including:

  • The local production of H2 by electrolysis;
  • The production of renewable energies to feed the electrolyser;
  • The valuation of the surplus of ENr / H2 in the form of storage via injection into the gas network (Power to gas).

PDP and LATEP research labs of UPPA will contribute to the elaboration of this project.
