NuMéA joins the Carnot Institute "France Future Livestock"

The Carnot Institutes aim to promote research partnerships between public laboratories and socio-economic actors, primarily private sector enterprises, from SME to large corporations, in order to meet their needs. The Carnot label is given to public research structures, Carnot Institutes, whose activity combines research that renews their scientific and technological capabilities, and active partnership policies of benefit to the socio-economic world.

France Future Livestock is one of 29 Carnot Institutes. It offers businesses in the livestock sector its R&D expertise. Its three types of action, essential for the development of a multi-performing, sustainable and profitable livestock industry are animal health, nutrition and livestock techniques, and animal genetics. The research aims to help individual industrial actors, or the industry as a whole.

France Future Livestock brings together world-class figures in the areas of agronomy and veterinary research, and the expert R&D know-how of three Agricultural Technical Institutes that are international leaders in livestock services.

NuMéA joins France Future Livestock as the result of years of research on farmed fish nutrition, in partnership with the professionals of the aquaculture industry. It is not only a recognition of the quality of NuMéA's research but also an opportunity for funding research in the future.
